Bach flower, called Oak in English, comes from oak, a species of tree found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. It is particularly present from the coldest latitudes to the tropical zones of Asia. Oaks are very polymorphic species on a genetic level, which explains their strong capacity for adaptation. Its great strength also allows it to produce shoots from buds that for many years have remained in a latent state.
The oak is a fast-growing tree that can reach several tens of meters in height.
Equipped with a single straight trunk, it represents strength and nobility. Its leaves are lobed with rounded ends for white oak and pointed ends for red oak. It produces acorns in which there is a seed which, depending on the species, can take between 6 and 18 months to mature. The oak is a tree that easily exceeds 500 years old and is used to sheltering many species of insects. Even after its death, the oak continues to nourish them. It is also often referred to as a biodiversity hotspot.
