We find the Bach Gorse flower on gorse, shrubs which grow throughout Europe, but also on the American continent or in Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to its density, its thorns, but also to its small scale leaves which protect it, gorse quickly becomes impenetrable.
Bach Gorse flower can bloom as early as autumn, bringing color as the winter solstice approaches. Indeed, it has bright golden yellow petals, which can give off a very pleasant smell when they are soaked in sunlight. Its small flowers made up of five unequal petals similar to butterflies then continue to bloom until spring, resisting the vagaries of the weather whatever happens. They are found in large numbers from March to June, illuminating the edges of the paths when the sunny days arrive. Recognized for its beauty and strength, gorse is also nicknamed Breton gold, and has become the official emblem of Brittany, while its flower has been designated as the flower of the nation in Galicia, North-West region from Spain.
