Bach Pine flower comes from Scots pine, a species of tree belonging to the Pinaceae family that is found in Europe, as far as eastern Siberia. Often called "northern pine", the flower has a long straight trunk, it generally reaches 25 meters high and lives for more than two centuries. Some Scots pines can last more than 700 years. The tree is easily identifiable thanks to its ocher-red colored bark. Its leaves are bluish-colored needles measuring between 4 and 7 cm long.
The Scots pine is the oldest species of all flowering plants. Symbol of profound transformation over time and of successive generations, it is possible to distinguish three stages of growth in one and the same. Scots pine is a conifer whose wood is widely used, particularly in construction and the manufacture of paper pulp. Its buds and needles can be distilled into essential oils for use in herbalism. This tree is a species of light, it needs a lot of light during its growth. It does not fear cold or drought and adapts to most soils.
