Elderberry SAP Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is a traditionally used plant, known for its immune-supporting and antiviral properties. Rich in polyphenols and anthocyanins, elderberry demonstrates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral activity.
Elderberry SAP can:
- Be used in herbal medicine to promote sweating (diaphoretic) to help relieve fever (in cases of colds and flu).
- Help relieve cold and flu symptoms (such as cough, sore throat, and mucus buildup [catarrh] of the upper respiratory tract).
- Help relieve joint pain associated with conditions such as arthritis.
- Help eliminate accumulated waste via the kidneys, skin, and mucous membranes.
Adults aged 18 and over: take two 1 ml doses three times a day or as directed by your healthcare professional. Adolescents aged 14 to 17: take two 1 ml doses three times a day. Adolescents aged 10 to 13: take one 1 ml dose three times a day. Children aged 5 to 9: take one ½ ml dose three times a day. Children aged 2 to 4: Take one ⅓ ml dose three times a day.
Each 1 ml serving contains (raw material equivalent): Sambucus nigra ssp. nigra (fruit) 250 mg. Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol and purified water.
