Liquid Iodine Forte™ provides 150 mcg of iodine (as potassium iodide) per drop. Iodine is an essential trace mineral and is essential for proper thyroid function. Approximately 80% of dietary iodine is sequestered by the thyroid gland. However, other tissues also concentrate iodine, including the salivary glands, gastric mucosa, choroid plexus, lactating mammary gland, and ovaries. Decreased iodine status can lead to insufficient thyroxine production, negatively impacting thyroid function. Vegetarians may also be at increased risk of iodine deficiency. Liquid Iodine Forte™ can be used when a higher concentration of iodine is indicated. It provides 150 mcg of iodine per drop.
Adults: One (1) drop one (1) to two (2) times daily as a dietary supplement or as directed by a healthcare professional. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
