Mg-Lax Gentle Osmotic Stool Softener is specially formulated to promote regular bowel movements, soften stools, and help with constipation. Contains magnesium oxide and citrate, which act as an osmotic laxative, increasing stool bulk while making it softer. A safe and gentle alternative to stimulant laxatives. Magnesium citrate helps relax intestinal spasms and prevent cramping. Useful in elderly patients to prevent straining and promote healthy bowel movements. NOTE: For therapeutic uses of magnesium other than constipation or treatment of magnesium deficiency, choose Bisglycino-Mg for maximum absorption.
Adults: For constipation, take 1 to 3 capsules at bedtime or as directed by your healthcare professional.
