Niacitol® contains inositol nicotinate, a flush-free form of niacin (vitamin B3) that has been used in Europe for over 30 years to support healthy nutritional metabolism. Niacitol® is a well-tolerated form of vitamin B3 and is unlikely to cause flushing (redness, warmth, and itching of the skin) or other side effects associated with niacin. Inositol nicotinate is composed of one inositol molecule and six niacin molecules. Niacin is a key component that affects virtually every aspect of energy metabolism. These coenzymes (NAD and NADP) are the most important electron carriers in cells and contribute to metabolic reactions surrounding the breakdown and utilization of macronutrients.
